All of his previous films belonged to romantic comedy genre, BBB being the best. FAN is obviously bigger than all of the previous 3 movies he has made but since it's a different genre, it would be unfair to chose between BBB and FAN (SDR and LVRB were just OK).
Hmm, I wasn't comparing genres. More on the lines of did you coming out feeling more 'content' compared to his previous (most likely compared to BBB)
dnkdreamz, agree with the second part being less logic-bound than the first and I also see it as a kind of 'masala'-style. It did not bother me as there is a lot of irony concerning the myth of a megastar (I simply loved the way ShahRukh pointed also at himself)... high octane action, running, chasing, fighting, a superb cinematography and the outstanding VFX made me forget to look after 'reality'

Somehow I think the masala style of the 2nd half is deliberately done to highlighten a kind of satirical touch...a take on a star who is made by building up a myth/legend/make-belief which gets destroyed because it is not part of the real reel person. I found Aryan Khanna's part more courageous to enact than Gaurav's. That's why I also think they did not involve security and police to deal with Gaurav...it was definitely a personal thing between Aryan and Gaurav, between the responsibility of a star as of his honesty to his fans and the limits a fan has to respect as for the love for the star.
