story that goes with this pic: Star Power in Phuket (dont get fooled by the title of the link
Star power in Phuket Gulu Lalvani, the British-Asian founder and chairman of Binatone, one of UK’s largest privately owned consumer electronics companies, is a card- holding member of the international jetset and his credentials include dating the late Princess Di and founding the £32m Royal Phuket Marina, where he regularly hosts his friends like Pierce Brosnan.
Shweta Nanda, Ness Wadia and Gauri Khan (attached) Well, there appeared to be an influx of stars trooping in to his Thai beach resort this weekend, when the Bachchan family dropped in to spend time with their samdhi, Rajan Nanda (Shweta’s father-in-law) who has a home next door to Lalwani’s Marina. And as if this star power weren’t enough, Lalwani says he was delighted to receive a call from SRK and family, saying they too were in town and happy to meet.
According to our source, not only did Lalwani take this stratospheric star constellation comprising two of India’s biggest stars for a spin on his yacht, but he also hosted them at his resort. And for those wondering about this latest star bonding between the Bachchans and the Khans , apparently it is predicated not only on Abhishek’s engagement with Red Chillies Productions’ latest venture, but also the fact that the Nanda and Khan progeny have struck up a friendship in UK where they attend school. (And as any parent knows, holidays are dictated by where the kids want to hang.)
Though, there're some ridicules unnecessary defensive statements from her. Like regarding her being a stronger personality than him while he is the one who went through some really dramatic experiences in the past and him fighting the world to make a mark, have a better life from scratch and went against his nature and sensitivity regarding some work at times and not afraid of facing rejections and challenges, and her following him blindly and in love which I think it is so beautiful and courageous from her side. But I guess SRK is too confident and such a strong character that he lets her feels that way.
And it won't hurt her to address that " i love you" in public for her husband for a change, and confess her complete emotional, physical dependency on her husband as well as she has been with him for almost 30 years now when he couldn't afford even a bed! It won't take away from her mindset individuality and her confidence as his woman. I mean he is the one who shares himself with you and you do the same. So, the matter of no emotional needs from the closest person to you physically is quite a silly contradiction thing to project outside. Especially considering the fact you consider your loving husband and the father of your children sayings, advices and how he feels about certain things a great inspiration for you to follow and him being the reason of you feeling special! Really she should gain more confidence and not afraid of showing her love to her man out loud and not thinking much of "come what may" from him in the future.
....I don't know but that's my saying.
And she can take out the pain of dressing and dolling up by hiring a stylist as a whole, just to match her husband status within the sociaty as a man and not necessoray the superstar. I think it is important to showcase your beauty as the wife of Shah Rukh and occupy him publicly for great encouragement, I mean the best from the world he does provide for you anyhow. And again that won't take away from the importance of your being. I guess nothing can be more flattering than showing that you're his better half and he is yours.
I agree with much of your comments. I think she does it in the same way that old time stars and SRK himself with the exception of JTHJ didn't kiss on screen. Some things are just private and the only privacy they really have. He is adored by the world; the best way to love him is probably NOT to adore him at home. Be a regular wife and he will feel safe, I think is her thought. Who knows? But most of that article was so sweet: picture him waking up with AbRam???? Too too sweet.
Hmmm....not a very good interview. Gauri comes across as an indulged wife whose husband bends over backward to make her feel special while she couldn't care enough to do the same. Somewhere there's a disconnect between the interviewer and Gauri. She doesn't usually sound like this.
And did you see the online version of the previous interview posted by Kiran01 ? They purposefully put PC's picture in the interview and I feel like I wanna blow the head off of the people at Hindustan Times. Bloody idiot tabloids.
There is always the old saying that behind every successful man is a woman. But honestly in this case I feel behind such woman is a very strong totally independent, influential and emotionally intelligent man. And I don't mean the financial aspect at all.
Gauri has beautiful sexy looking caramel eyes. I've always thought her face is distinguishably pretty.
