Well.. I believe Tubelight has to be good for Tiger2 to be a huge blockbuster.. But looks like all the variables are computed correctly.. Festive season, big stars, studio, Marketing.... 400 crores is on the cards in 2017... If Salman can get through the next 3-4 years .. we will be looking at 500 crores by the end of the decade and possibly his claims to be the biggest commercial star of all time.. (Not Counting Rajni )
All it needs is someone to induce a clash.. get a good movie going .. But at this moment no one is up to the task..However it has to end some day.. No formula ever lives forever ... The thing of interest is when and how.
flickaholic that day will not come because well made commertial Desi movie has wider audiences and reality is that salman is only commercial star today that he is doing typical Bollywood (Desi Indian) movies. Other commercial star like Akki (holiday/baby kind of patriotic) one dimension, Amir hritik 1 movie after 2-3 years that too not typical masala and all new actor like ranbeer, shahid, ranveer, sushant, sidharth thinks they are doing something different but in reality they are doing nothing, srk mixing well but he try to different and mostly urban actor which not only reject by medium and small city audience but now days even urban people too not liking it. Even his so called commertial movie too not typical Desi (Only his desi movies like oso, RNBDJ, ce accepted by wider audiences in last 10 years) I am not against any actor what they does maybe some people start to attacking on me for harsh comment but truth is Indian audiences like to watch only desi commertial movies. Even on television people prefers south dubbed movies. If there are 5-6 big budget commertial movies releases every years I am sure none of salman movie touch 300 cr or even 250 cr.

Now when will Yrf announce srk - Adi movie which srk has hinted a year back. Hope they book Eid 2018.
I don't think YRF will announce SRK - Adi movie any time soon. I think Thugs and Tiger got announced because YRF wanted to get ahead of the media and their baseless source rumors. SRK - Adi movie isn't getting any steam, Adi is finishing up Befikre, and he still has to finish writing the film any new announcement. I think SRK will do a different movie before anything with Adi.
I don't think Adi will reserve any big festival date film with SRK as the lead anytime soon...... Aditya Chopra has a company to run too, sure he may cast SRK in some niche films produced by YRF like FAN but that's about it as for know IMO
I am fine with it. Let him cash on Salman/Aamir for the big dates and SRK for the smaller character driven films
