The first half of Raees runs through a list "smuggler" tricks which have been seen in many of the movies of the 70s and 80s , general glorification of illegal activities and kids indulging in them as well . The second half is much better. Shah Rukh Khan carries off all the bravado scenes easily but the places where his performances really shines is when the character of Raees gets unsure and is under pressure. The Udi Udi song and the title song (Enu Naam hai Raees) fit well into the movie. Better than I expected but still waiting for a "great" movie.
