Totally agree with you Pepper on Srk and Mahira acting in more movies together. She complements Srk's acting abilities really well. So much better than Katrina, Anushka and the current crop of Bollywood actresses.
The visuals in this song are a mish-mash, and maybe not the original visuals as they might have intended. Have to say my vote is for Zaalima is I had to pick one.
O Zaalima was a perfect match to show their love as a married couple. Halka Halka seems to have been destined to be included even before UdiUdiJaye...it was - imo - a wise decision to cut the song from the movie. The scenes before UdiUdiJaye sufficiently showed the nature of their relation. But I like that they published the song now because it means even more scenes with ShahRukh and Mahira. I am waiting patiently for the deleted scenes

Beautiful to watch like all SRK songs! But leaving it out was a wise editing decision. A bit confusing, those last sequences...they seem to have been shot in a temple, Jain or Hindu, I am not sure. I have seen similar sculpture in the Dilwara Jain temples of Gujarat. Maybe there were chucked in to hint that Fatepura is a composite community, respecting everyone's religion, etc etc...?
Love the classical rain scene. Reminds me of so many of his films. No one does it better. I just keep replaying that part of the song, I don't really like the chorus. The verse is intense and romantic and then the chorus just too peppy and upbeat. Any one know when the full audio is releasing?
Kabhi kisi ko mukammal jahaan nahi milta,
Kahin zameen to kahin aasmaa nahi milta.
I agree to what you wrote, poonam...as it were these song sequences they shot when starting the shooting process, the song was meant to establish a certain knowing about their romance and living background. But later it became clear that maybe the showing of their loving and relation on an equal level still going strong AFTER the marriage would be important, they changed their mind and made Zaalima as they had got additional time to do so. In addition, they had enough scenes with hints about the community and the well established love between Aasiya and Raees.
