I wouldn't be too worried. 70 plus cr for the first two days is amazing and it's basically guaranteed 100cr weekend. That's another record as well. I'm extremely happy!!! Plus if we go by the producer numbers then it's going to be approx 80 cr for these two days. Either way it's doing better then I had hopped and I'm sure it will reach the 200cr mark in no time. I can't wait to watch it again

Happy New Year Day 2 Box Office Collections: Early Estimate
Happy New Year was steady on its second day at multiplexes, but single-screens at some mass-centres have witnessed bigger drops. The All-India fall though was normal for a Saturday, after a record-breaking holiday opening.
The Shahrukh Khan starrer continued to do well in circuits like Mumbai and East Punjab. Delhi/UP was strong, but trade sources says business could have been affected by communal riots. Centres like C.I and C.P Berar dropped on Day 2, West Bengal and Mysore were strong. Tamil and Telugu versions have fallen, but the Hindi version in Tamilnadu/Kerala and Andhra/Nizam is performing well.
Happy New Year has now collected around 81 crore in 2 days and should comfortably get to somewhere around 115-120 crore, giving the film the highest first weekend in the history of Indian Cinema - ahead of Dhoom 3's weekend collections of 107.61 cr.
On the eve of Diwali the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Happy New Year 2014 Movie has managed to break all previous records of opening day box office collection on Friday, the film has also done an extraordinary business on the second day (Saturday) in Box Office. “Happy New Year” is expecting to break all time highest life time box office collection of “Dhoom 3”. Here’s the 2nd Day worldwide Box Office Report of HNY as known as Happy New Year.
As we know that Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan’s Much Hyped release has got more than 4,000 screen, so it was quite expected. It has done a business of 44.97 crores on its first day of release, now the question is will the Happy New Year Saturday box office collection be a bigger one than Sallu’s Kick? Yes it is actually and this season of festival helped SRK to win this year’s tug of war between Khans. Looking at the seat occupancy, the second day box office report of HNY should go over 40 crores too.
First Day Collection: 44.91 Crores (Indian Box Office) 20 Crores (Overseas Box Office Market) Second Day Box Office Collection: 45.52 Crores (Domestic Box Office) 21 Crores (Overseas Box Office Collection)
Total Worldwide Box Office Collection 130.43 Crores
The film hasn’t received a positive review from the critics al all. So most probably it is all about SRK factor which worked like never before. If everything goes according to estimation it could cross 100 Crores on the 2nd day and it will be an all time first two day highest business for any Bollywood movie in history. Overall, the throne of king of Bollywood and king of box office belongs to the same person.
Happy New Year (HNY) Movie 2nd Day Domestic Box Office Collection
The final figure of HNY Saturday Box Office Collection should be out soon but a confirmed report by the film officials shows that it has collected more than RS. 40 Crores on its second Day on Indian Box Office. So surely it is going to earn the tag of all time highest grosser in Bollywood. By looking at all the reports the opening weekend of the movie could be astonishing and very much surprising.
Happy New Year (2014) Second Day Overseas Box Office Collection
Shah Rukh Khan is the most loved Indian Actor out of India, and the king khan has proved it again, according to estimated figure HNY broke all previous records in-terms of Overseas Box Office market. Well, the amount is quite large, on its first day the amount was 20 crores, Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 was dominating the top place in Bollywood but it is also shattered by latest release of SRK. According to film officials report Happy New Year has collected 22 Crores in overseas on Saturday.
If "Happy New Year" (2014) continues this flow in Box Office Report it should break all the previously made records of Bollywood films in terms total Box Office Collection. The amount of HNY 2 days Box Office business is indeed astonishing. Stay with us to get the final report of HNY 2nd day box office report.

Happy New Year: All set to join the 100 crore club
TNN | Oct 26, 2014, 11.14 AM IST
This Diwali, Shah Rukh Khan's blazing cracker of a film - Happy New Year, has worked wonders at the box-office. According to a Times of India report, the film got an opening of approximately Rs 44.97 crore.
And on the second day of its release too, Happy New Year has managed to gross an impressive figure at the box-office. According to a report on Koimoi.com, early estimates suggested that the film has collected approximately Rs 38 crore at the ticket windows. Slowly inching towards the coveted Rs 100 crore figure, HNY has so far collected a whopping Rs 82.97 crore. The ensemble cast and festive season seem to have effectively added to the film's collections.
Happy New Year did well on day two as it grossed around 28.50 crore nett on its second day taking its two day total to 68 crore nett plus. The film held best in the Gujarat where it is holiday season and other places where there was a holiday for Bhai Dooj while other places showed a fall which happens after a big holiday.
The film is best in Mumbai due to the Gujarat factor while Delhi/UP is also strong due to strong figures in UP in day two. The under performance is in the East even though Shahrukh Khan is by a margin the biggest star in West Bengal
The Saturday numbers are less than Dhoom 3 and which collected 30.5 on Saturday while Chennai Express was in the same range as Happy new Year. The business on Sunday will be up and down as the places where it was a holiday on Saturday could drop while others where it was a normal should grow.

Happy New Year has open big on Sunday (3rd day) at box office again as far as Morning shows is concerned. Film has registered an opening of 70% occupancy for Morning shows in multiplexes. In comparison film registered opening of 75-80% on Friday Morning and 60-65% on Saturday Morning. That means film has took little better opening than Saturday, whereas little below than Friday.
Noon Update - Coming to Noon shows report HNY is registering occupancy of around 80-85%, which is more or less same in comparison to Saturday noon shows or little better here and there. However when compared to Friday noon shows it is lower than that. That is normal considering Friday numbers are just earth shattering.
HNY Bumper occupancy in Morning and Noon shows augurs well for rest of the day. Film is expected to have another huge day at box office. Film will not only cross 100 crore nett in 3 days flat, but also will be biggest all time opener as far as first weekend collection is concerned. In fact HNY is set to collect in region of 110-120 crore nett, which is unprecedented.
It was 29 cr on Saturday for dhoom3 not 30.5. Boi is big manipulator.
sorry if this is off topic.
i have noted this very well and i agree with you about and that www.boxofficeindia.com after kkhh does not like to write the correct things for srk especially. also as we all know very well chenai express was said on all websites all time blockbuster but only again www.boxofficeindia.com said and declared ce blockbuster instead of ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER ( this has really irritated me too much )
Happy New Year has collected Rs 37.54 crore on its second day at the domestic box office. The film has sustained very well at multiplexes, the night shows in cities were packed to capacity. Single-screens especially in Central and North India dropped by 25-30%.
The 2-day business of Happy New Year is the highest ever, beating the previous record of Dhoom 3 which collected 69.58 crore. The collections of Happy New Year is significantly higher than Dhoom 3, but the opening day of the Shahrukh Khan starrer was a holiday in most parts of the country.
Saturday was also a holiday in some parts for Bhai Dhooj, which marks the end of the Diwali festivities. Sunday has already started on a high note, the film is expected to cross the 40 crore mark once again today.
Happy New Year will cross the 100 crore mark today, in less than 3 days, making it the joint fastest to the century mark – tied with Dhoom 3.
Happy New Year 2nd Day Collection, Earth Shattering Again. 0 Posted by ankur baruah You May Also Like News on: Shahrukh Khan at Sunday, October 26, 2014
Happy New year has collected around 33.5-34 crore nett for 2nd Day (Saturday) at box office as per estimates. Datas still pouring and hence vary a little. Film has recorded again earth shattering numbers for two days running. Thus, film has collected over 78.5-79 crore nett mark in 2 days flat. Film is just unstoppable right now at box office and is breaking all records left and right.
Film is all set to cross 100 crore nett in first weekend itself and realistic chances are that it will even go beyond 110+ crore nett in 3 days flat. That means HNY is set to create new benchmark as far as opening weekend is concerned.
HNY has registered a overall drop of around 25% on Saturday from Friday which is excellent trending, considering film collection on day one is unprecedented and record breaking. Even 2nd day collection are one of the biggest single days. 2nd day drop in multiplexes was lower with around 15%, whereas in single screens drop is little higher with around 30%.
OK, calling this one out. The first weekend will be broken, but not the first week. Therefore, even the fastest to 200 crore won't be broken. Reason is Dhoom 3 had Christmas and New Year (and the festive shutdown in general), whereas Happy New Year doesn't have that.
Happy New Year Set For Second Highest Overseas Opening Ever Sunday 26 October 2014 16.00 IST Box Office India Trade Network
Happy New Year may take the second biggest opening ever in Overseas. The film will not beat Dhoom 3 which collected over $10 million but may edge past the second biggest opener Chennai Express which grossed $7.25 million approx.
The two day figures are around £400,000 in United Kingdon and $1,200,000 in US/Canada. The Gulf is looking at a weekend somewhere around the $2,5 million region. There are no holidays in Overseas in the Diwali period like Christmas and it is not as good as the Eid period especially in places like UK and Gulf.
The weekend overseas should be over the $7 million mark mark but remains to be seen if it can to around $8 million .
Wouldn't worry too much about the overseas figures they are reporting. Have to remember that D3 also had the advantage of releasing with IMAX ticket prices, which are probably close to double the price of admission.
