Its so bad i don't even know what to say ??? I really loved Tum Bin (2001) but this one is so embarrassing badly directed so badly acted, you have literally people staring at the camera in a middle of a scene ! i am not kidding ! some of them would stop and stare directly at the scene being shot LOL
The correct rating should be 0/10 if it wasn't for the soundtrack
Finally got round to watching Baahubali. Thought it was fantastic and one of the best films ive ever seen. Regret not having seen it earlier, but i was putting it off as i had never seen a dubbed film. The battle scenes were absolutely epic, the weapons and fight scenes were very engrossing. Looking forward to seeing part two now. Only qualm, is that i had trouble following the storyline and the characters.
Recently watched and enjoyed: Kapoor and Sons 8/10 Great movie. Superb performances by all. Rishi Kapoor was a wise grandfather. Really enjoyed this film. Masaan 7/10 Contemporary look at premarital sex, budding romance and caste differences and grief. Sensitive approach. Strong performances by all. Sanam Teri Kasam 9/10 an old fashioned love story that will have you in tears. Powerful performances by Harsha Rane and Mawra Hocane. Loved their Jodi!
Has anyone seen Rangoon? I thought it looked sort of interesting on the trailer I saw with Raees but it has totally tanked at the BO. This compared to Jolly LLB2 which has done well but looked to me like formulaic rubbish from the preview.
I am yet to watch Rangoon but the trailers looked more like a low budget telenovela than a period drama, LLB2 on the other hand was quite a enjoyable film with honest performances and decent plot line.
Watched the movie Trapped last night. An excellent movie, keeps you engaged right from the beginning till the end (no interval). Reminded me a lot of one of my favorite movies and performance of all time Cast Away, though it's set in different premises. Raj Kumar Rao is superb yet again and so is Vikramaditya Motwane. All 3 movies of Vikramaditya Motwane (Udaan, Lootera and Trapped) are 3 of my favorite movies. Kudos to him for not sticking to a single genre and yet delivering very good movies.
I have seen it twice and I love it! Surpassed all expectations. There was much laughter, a few tears when Shashi went to meet Anu first time. I don't know how much I can say as there maybe people who haven't seen it yet. Also, I am not good at giving reviews, not like you guys do. I can only tell you whether I like a film, or not. I loved it. I am going to definitely see it again. As usual the visuals are stunning, set locations, wardrobe, etc. I liked all the songs. I watched the last 20 minutes with a smile from ear to ear and tears rolling down my face. I had same reaction the 2nd time I saw the film. Beautiful love stories, there were 2. I like it better than Ghost. Film has many more layers than Ghost. The story is beautiful, nice special effects but Anushka Sharma ties it all together. It works because she has great acting abilities, she's beautiful and she has a killer likeability (I don't think it's real word) factor. She's awesome. Also, added bonus for me, I learned a little more of India's history. Very poignant historical incident.
I loved Badrinath. We were at the cinema to watch Logan and after that decided to catch this for time pass. Loved Varun's and Alai's natural acting. It's been awhile I truly enjoyed a bollywood movie. First half was really entertaining. Movie has flaws in the second half. but we were able to feel the characters. That actually happened after long time for a bollywood movie. Glad we caught the movie.
