I am in a minority here (in fact the lone voice so far), but the song is outright average. If not for the people involved, I wouldn't have given this a repeat hearing. Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya are both capable of way better than this mediocre stuff.
That said, everything else about the song is great - the "chemistry" is intact, and if I may say so, even more fiery now :D, the visuals are breathtaking, the VFX spot on, the Janam Janam background score lilting, and of course Farah in her element - has been some time.
The song is a benchmark in terms of visuals, scale and chemistry. It looks absolutely beautiful and SRK-Kajol's chemistry shines through effortlessly. Will be even better on the big screen. As for the song itself, I loved the upbeat yet soothing nature. It's no masterpiece like a Suraj Hua Madham or a Tujhe Dekha Toh but still very good in its own right and supports the stunning visuals very well.
WHAT????? No VFX??? Come on now. The green appearing greener thing definitely must have been VFX touched up. Btw, I just HAD to look up Seljalandsfoss waterfall on youtube and google images. My word, what a place. I hope I get a chance some day to go visit Iceland one day....

It's pretty obvious they used VFX, they may have not used green screens or anything similar during filming, but there was clearly extensive post-production work done to make it as vivid as it is.
Also, was just browsing through the videos they posted from the launch... and I know "Tujhe Dekha To" & "Suraj Hua Maddham" are their most popular songs, but SRK/Kajol have a ton of other great songs ("Kaali Kaali Aankhen" "Jaati Hoon Mein" "Ladki Badi Anjaani Hai" etc.) that would've been nice to see the event acknowledge.
Iceland is stunning the way it is. It is THAT good.
Well, I have not been to Ice Land. It might be THAT good but they have used VFX that is for sure. There are a lot of scenes in the song which are impossible without VFX.
My friends have been there & have stunning shots as such. I'm surprised actually they didn't shoot at night as the lights are even more outstanding to say the least.
I'm sure they have great team of professional cinematographers & lights specialist and what not to capture the magic & enhance with better angles like any other a list movie with benefits of having helicopters to roam around. But as to the place...it is breathtaking on its own.
They most certainly have used vfx, it's just not that much noticeable, like the color of the skies, clouds, birds, flares and the color correction layers of course.. it would still look beautiful without it though.
